Piano recital by László Borbély and master's students and doctoral candidates from the Academy of Music

25 November 2025, 06:00 pm.
Ervin Szabó Library Budapest - Ötpacsirta Salon
1088 Budapest, Ötpacsirta utca 4.

"Those who attend this concert will experience the power of continuity, as it is not just one generation that will be represented on this evening, which, to our great delight, will feature several world premieres. And we can safely say that it will showcase the "cream" of today's classical music scene in terms of young pianists and performers, but the same can be said about the composers: the works of twelve composers will be performed by aspiring artists, established artists and their teachers, László Borbély, Junior Prima and Artisjus award-winning pianist, all of whom came to classical music from the ranks of the Academy of Music and now travel the world, representing and demonstrating day after day everything they learned here, tradition and the modernity that springs from it. We are delighted that the host and presenter of the evening will be Iván Madarász, Kossuth Prize and Ferenc Erkel Prize-winning composer and professor at the Academy of Music."
