Budapest Music Center - Library
1093 Budapest, Mátyás utca 8.
What does Fluxus mean today? Flux Us Now! is a research-based documentary that explores the radical art movement of the 1960s through archival footage and interviews: composers, performers and curators recall how Fluxus dissolved the boundaries between music, visual art and everyday actions. The film also asks what was at stake politically and socially when art stepped out of the concert hall into the street and into daily life. Before the screening in the film club of the Transparent Sound New Music Festival, Orsolya Kaincz, the curator of the evening, will give an introductory lecture.
The language of the film: English.
