Horia studied at the Hochschule der Künste Bern (CH) with Prof. Ernesto Molinari and is also an alumni of IDM Darmstadt (DE) and the Lucerne Academy where he was mentored by Pierre Boulez and Ensemble Intercontemporain. A sought-after soloist and chamber musician, his recent activities include appearances alongside such ensembles as: Klangforum Wien, Phoenix Basel, Paul Klee Ensemble Bern, UMZE Budapest at festivals including: Wien Modern, Lucerne Festival, Encuentros Buenos-Aires. Horia is a member of the Mitteleuropäisches Kammerorchester (A).
