He was born on November 26th 1979 in Budapest, and begun trumpet studies at the age of ten, with my mother Gabriella Losonczi, later with Éva Nagyiván and Ede Inhoff. Between 1993 and 1998 he studied at the Bartók Conservatory of Music with Attila Simon, then at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music with Professor Frigyes Varasdy where he graduated in 2003.
He won a 2nd prize at the Budapest Trumpet Competition in 1993, 3rd prize at the Imre Lubik National Trumpet Competition in 1993, Special Prize at the National Trumpet Competition in 1997. He was elected Musician of the Year of the Bartók Conservatory in 1998. Next year he made semi-final at the International Trumpet Competition held in Pilisvörösvár, and participated in the Porcia International Trumpet Competition. In 2001 he was awarded �Medaille d�Or - á l�unanimité du jury� in the UGDA European Trumpet Competition in Luxembourg. Also in 2001, he received a scholarship (Prix Européen d�Encouragement) from the Pro Europa Foundation for Culture in Strasbourg. He has attended master courses by Tamás Velenczei, Carole D. Reinhardt, Bo Nilsson, Max Sommerhalder, Fred Mills, Heinrich Bruckner and Reinhold Friedrich.
He has played with several chamber and symphony orchestras, mainly in orchestral works and oratories of Bach and Händel (the Budapest Strings, Hungarian Virtuosi, the Weiner-Szász C.O., the Failoni C.O., the Budapest Baroque, the Savaria Baroque, and the Rheinische Kantorei - Germany). He is a member of the Budapest Symphonic Band, first trumpeter of the Budapest Chamber Symphony and a permanent substitute of the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra, the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the National Philharmonic Orchestra.
