He started studying music at the age of 6, first the piano then the clarinet and later the guitar. Only after having served as a soldier did he start to play the bass guitar. He graduated at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Musical Art in 1994. Since 1995 he has taught the bass giutar and ensemble playing at Pomáz Music School. He formed the group called Tax Free with his friends in 1995 and recorded 2 albums. They performed at various clubs and festivals in Hungary and abroad alike. As a session musician he has palyed in a number of pop and jazz formations (Not for Sale, Tisza Bea, Behumi Dóri, Freeport etc.). Since August 2003 he has been a steady member of the band Jazzpression.
In 2020 he won the Artisjus-Prize.
