Zoltán Oláh was born in Budapest in 1974. He studied at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music faculty of jazz, where he got artist and music teacher degree. He is continuously playing in various groups and teaching students.

From September 2007 Zoltán Oláh was a teacher of Dr. Lauschmann Gyula Secondary School of Jazz Music. Since 2019 he is a teacher of the Jazz Faculty of Bartók-Pikéthy Secondary School of Music.
