The ensemble's artistic director and founder (1995) is Soma Dinyés. The orchestra's repertoire chiefly features the oratorical works of Johann Sebastian Bach, which it performs on historical instruments with small solo-style vocal ensembles. They have made several CDs featuring Bach cantatas, motets, the Christmas Oratorio, the Magnificat as well as Handel's Water Music.
