György Miklós Fehér was born in 1951 in Budapest. He graduated from the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. His works were played besides Hungary in the USA, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Germany, Spain and France. His works were performed among others by the Hungarian National Choir (Mátyás Antal), the Budapest Monteverdi Choir (Éva Kollár), the Óbuda Chamber Choir (Ákos Erdős), the Pro Musica Girls´ Choir (Dénes Szabó), the Ráday Choir (Anita Repkény), the Aurin Girls´ Choir of Kecskemét (László Durányik) and the University of the Arts Symphonic Choir of Philadelphia (Sean Deibler). Editions of his works are collected by the Hungarian Music Information Center and the library of the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, and they can be bought in the Zoltán Kodály, Ferenc Liszt and Rózsavölgyi music shops in Budapest.
