Veronika Harcsa was born in 1982 in Budapest. She started to play the piano at the age of seven. During the secondary school years she changed to playing the saxophpone and started to take lessons in classical singing.
In 2000 she took up jazz singing. In 2004 Ms. Harcsa got admitted to the jazz faculty of the Ferenc Liszt College of Music.

In 2005 she formed the Harcsa Veronika Quintet. Ms. Harcsa's professors have been Zsuzsanna Pollák, Eszter Pozsár, Bea Munkácsi, Gyula Éliás, Tamás Berki. In 2024 she was given the Best Singer of the Year Prize of Bartók Radio.
